is the choice for you. With our individual client approach,
we build your hats from the ground up to suit your personality
and style and can tailor for any occasion. Statement
Millinery was founded in April 2004 by Jannette and John
Garden. Their passion for race meetings gave them the
need to create outfits for Jannette, with matching shoes,
bags and hats. Due to an overwhelming response to their
designs Jannette and John decided to start their own studio
and Statement Millinery was born.Both
Jannette and John produce their creations, with John's
art scholarship and Jannette's know how they find the
perfect balance of quality and creativity. All their hats
are uniquely designed, colour coordinated and hand made
to suit your needs. Materials are even hand dyed to match
your outfit requirements. Their studio has all the latest
colours in Sinnemay and Parisisal Straws for you to choose
from, along with a fantastic range of specially designed
hat blocks.
Jannette
and John's passion for their work can be seen in the
quality and design of their hats. You will feel great
wearing them and will be thrilled with the compliments
they attract. They will ensure your event is a hit.
Be sure to get in early though, as their work is much
sought after and the process can take a little time.
Last year orders had to be cut short due to the demand
for the Amateurs race meet, which is the biggest event
on the racing calendar in Cairns.
